January Women’s Workshop

January 17th, 2024, 5:30-7:00 pm

What is the Women’s Workshop?

Our Women’s Workshop is designed as an introduction to Krav Maga and self defense for those who need it most.

We understand the dangers that women face and seek to give them the tools to handle any situation they find themselves in. Krav Maga is a comprehensive self-defense system that addresses bear-hugs, strikes, chokes, takedowns, gun threats, and everything in-between.

This workshop seeks to open the door to confidence, safety, and peace to all women ages 13 and up. We will be addressing the very real threats that women face and how to address, avoid, and if necessary, fight their way out of an encounter.

Meet your Instructor

Becky began her martial arts journey over 20 years ago, studying a variety of styles including Tang Soo Do (3rd Degree Black Belt), Tae Kwon Do (Brown Belt), and Northern Shaolin Kung Fu. In 2003, she took her martial arts journey to the next level and became a martial arts instructor for both children and adults. When she stumbled upon Krav Maga in 2011, she was immediately drawn to the Krav training for its effectiveness and straightforward approach to real-world situations.

In addition to her love for Krav Maga, Becky also has a passion for the software industry, earning 2 MBAs from UNT (one in Business Computer Information Systems and one in Management) and later earned a Post-Bacc degree in Psychology. She currently works as the Chief Operating Officer for a software consulting company in Irving.
