WHAT IS STRIKELAB?

Improve your striking techniques and overall fight strategies. In StrikeLab, you will work on striking combinations using focus mitts and Muay Thai pads to improve your Krav Maga combatives, footwork, movement, striking power, and pad-holding techniques. This high intensity, skill-building class will sharpen your fighting skills and defensive reactions using everything from simple, two strike combinations all the way up to much more complex combinations and controlled partner sparring drills.

Requirements: Must attend a minimum of ten (10) Level 1 classes and have 16oz Boxing gloves and mouth guard, which are available for purchase at the front desk.

Anatomy of a class

Here's what to expect

1. A warmup to loosen the joints and get blood flowing.
2. Drill a specific technique to learn the movement and details.
3. Mittwork with a partner to work the technique into a combo.
4. Voluntary sparring to practice against a resisting opponent.

Our StrikeLab classes are designed to allow anyone to take care of themselves in a stand-up fight. Utilizing Muay Thai, Boxing, and other striking techniques, our instructors impart a well-rounded set of skills to our students. We practice combos to make combatives flow into each other, work on developing power in all of our strikes, and utilize all of our limbs to control the fight effectively. 

We break up our StrikeLab classes into three levels to ensure that our students are well-prepared and can build on a strong foundation before implementing more complex movements. These levels have you start with mittwork and fundamental movements, and progress to MMA style sparring. Regardless of the level you want to train to, our team of experts can get you there!
