Our Kid’s Krav Maga (KKM) program is a self-defense, fitness and life skills training program for young adults ages 6 through 13. The program is designed to give each child a head start in preparing for the challenges that await them in the not too distant future. This exciting and rewarding program will provide students with skills and experiences that help them learn how to be street smart in violent situations.
We motivate students to improve their overall level of fitness through games and circuit training routines that improve aerobic endurance, strength, speed, agility and coordination. Youth Krav Maga will also feature different themes that focus on respect, discipline, teamwork, goal setting, leadership and more to help make them ready for all aspects life. Let us partner with you to help your child grow up safe, strong and confident.
…after I had Reese, I wanted to find things that we could do together. He isn’t into soccer or sports or anything like that but he likes this and this is something we can do together. And what better way to exercise? You’re learning something valuable and getting into shape.
Krav Maga helped me stand up for myself instead of being scared or shy, it made me be more confident. Being at KMD helped me become more aware of my surroundings and know how to defend myself if anything does happen.
Eric began his self defense journey in Krav Maga Dallas’ Youth Program. Klutzy and uncoordinated, the nine year old struggled through the training—but he loved every class. Months later, he felt safer, stronger, and more confident. As an adult student, Eric decided to become an instructor to transform others as his instructors had transformed him.
Outside of Krav Maga, Eric is studying at Collin College and enjoys challenging himself in physical fitness, playing the piano, and spending time with friends and family.
Brooke began her Krav Maga journey in 2013 in the Krav Maga Dallas’ Youth Program. After advancing to the Adult Program, she began assisting in youth classes and quickly became eager to teach her own classes. That wish was fulfilled in 2020 when Brooke became an instructor. Brooke loves teaching and training, and she continues to grow as an instructor and as a student.
Ian began his self defense journey in the Krav Maga Dallas Youth Program in 2017. Since then, his focus has been on getting fit, gaining self-confidence, and improving his ability to defend himself. Today, as a higher-level student in the adult program, Ian is happy to share all he has learned with the younger students of KMD.
Outside of Krav Maga, Ian enjoys theatre, finding his place on the stage and in the spotlight.
