Learn how to operate under pressure

Over half of all violent encounters occur within seven feet. Many of these begin with ‘hands-on’ physical contact with no space and no time to think. At this distance, the habits practiced at the range, shooting at paper targets, quickly break down. The ability to draw, manage the fight, and deliver effective fire under pressure is essential to your survival.

This comprehensive six week course, focuses on the realities of close range violence. You will refine your draw, develop effective shooting skills, learn to operate in zero clearance environments and survive the most important 10 seconds of your life.

Did You Know?

Nearly 1/3 of gun owners have used a weapon in self defense

According to an updated analysis of the 2021 National Firearms Survey, “[…]Approximately a third of gun owners (31.1%) have used a firearm to defend themselves or their property” and “[…]Guns are used defensively by firearms owners in approximately 1.67 million incidents per year.”

Almost 70% of officers killed with firearms were shot within 10 feet

According to a case study by the FBI, from 1985-2014 69.7% of officers killed with firearms were attacked within 10 feet. Of those, over 50% were shot from within a 5 foot distance

There were over 6 million violent assaults and robberies in 2024.

The 2024 National Crime Victimization Survey also found that of these cases, over 3 million of these were cases of stranger violence, and 1.5 million incidents involved a weapon.

The data is clear

Life threatening encounters rarely start where there’s plenty of space to react. They happen by surprise, so close you can smell the attacker’s bad breath. Being able to handle these close quarters encounters requires training and practice. – It is a skill that everyone needs, especially those who carry a firearm.
